We are looking for a certified Senior Data Engineer who will turn data into information, information into insight, and insight into business decisions. This is a unique opportunity to be one of the key drivers of change in our expanding company.

About Our Customer

The public benefit corporation has a mission to decarbonize the advertising and media industry. The customer has developed an accurate emissions model in the digital advertising ecosystem, providing the data foundation to measure, reduce, and offset digital emissions. This team obtained experience that includes the invention of ad exchange and the development used in monetizing the Internet.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of background as a Data Scientist, Data Engineer, or similar
  • High volume/scale experience
  • Practice in data platform supporting
  • In-depth understanding of database structure principles
  • Proficiency in big query, Google Cloud Platform, airflow
  • Competence in Python+SQL
  • Knowledge of IC
  • Ability to be self-motivated, independent, and detail-oriented

Nice to Have

  • Availability to overlap with the PST time zone as much as possible
  • Competency in Golang
  • Skills in TypeScript

English level

Intermediate+

  • Analyze existing data sources
  • Identify anomalies/trends
  • Create data pipelines, graphics, and reports
  • Evaluate business needs and objectives
  • Explore ways to enhance data quality and reliability
  • Identify opportunities for data acquisition
